New South Wales: Lady Bay

Lady Bay is situated on Sydney harbour at South Head. It has been a nudist beach for more than 40 years. During the summer months a boat comes to the beach selling ice creams and cold drinks. We still recommend taking provisions for the day, including sun cream. There is a toilet block on the track between Lady Bay and Camp Cove. Access: By going to Camp Cove Beach. You will see on the right hand side of the beach a wooden set of stairs. Take these stairs and walk along the track north towards South Head. The beach is only five or six minutes along this track. By public transport: Buses leave regularly from Circular Quay for Watson’s Bay. Approximate travel time is 35 minutes. After alighting from the bus, continue walking past the Watson’s Bay Hotel until you reach Camp Cove Beach. Then use the directions as above.
